NPS Lead Designer wins award
February 20, 2006

National Paintball & Lead Designer Lee Eschliman received a 1st place in the prestigious AICC 12th International Corrugated Packaging Design Competition for "Scorched" paintball boxes today at NPS HQ in Sewell, New Jersey. The delighted Eschliman was flanked by representatives of Weber Display and Packaging Bob Doherty and Tim Conklin (not shown) as well NPS CEO Gino Postorivo. The award was for the Category 5 (Direct Print on Combined Board – Line Work & Non-Process Screen) beating out other contestants from across the globe. The proud moment was captured in digital glory by Head Photographer Troy Sorensen and excited Multimedia Designer Simon Cossettini for use in future publications. Tim Conklin of Weber Display conveyed his excitement "This is a big thing. Weber is very proud." This could not have been more true, it was the second visit to the 1st place podium for a Weber design in the AICC awards competition in just over seven years. Several other menbers of NPS attended the presentation and were able to join in the celebration and culinary delights of the awards party which would take in the regions finest cuisine.

The AICC competition took place October 26-29, 2005 in Westin Copley Place, Boston, MA.
