NPS
AND APL SIGN EXCLUSIVE DEAL FOR 2003 NATIONAL
PAINTBALL SUPPLY PRESENTS THE 2003 APL TOURNAMENT SERIES
Johnson
City, Tennessee: After nearly a year of negotiations, the
American Paintball League signed an agreement naming National
Paintball Supply, North America, the major presenting sponsor
of the APL series for the 2003 season. The American Paintball
League, known as the APL, was founded in 1991 by Bob McGuire.
The APL's history of carefully planned timing and scheduling,
smooth flow of tournament operations, and guaranteed prizes will
not change. APL President and founder Bob McGuire stated, "With
NPS coming on board, there will be an ever-increasing pile of
sponsor prizes, along with the top quality Diablo paint that tournament
players have come to appreciate. Players will look forward to
seeing the NPS display trailer at our events."
National
Paintball Supply, possessing such brands as 32
Degrees, Diablo
and Empire,
and exclusively distributing such successful products as Bob
Long's legendary Intimidator paintball gun and Diablo, Draxxus
and Team Colors paintballs, is an industry leader in every aspect
of the sport of paintball. "We've wanted this for a long
time," stated COO Johnny Postorivo, who continued "we've
always known the APL series is one of the most organized and well
run in the country. We believe this agreement is the beginning
of a long and fruitful relationship between the APL and National
Paintball Supply."
Johnny
Postorivo, Chief Operations Officer of National Paintball Supply,
signed the sponsorship agreement with APL President Bob McGuire
on January 12th, at a meeting in Chicago. National will provide
the APL with Diablo tournament paintballs that will be on-site
and exclusively available for sale at each of the APL's eight
tournament dates during the 2003 season.
Since
its inception in 1992, APL events have a history of smooth operation
and guaranteed prizes. Every facet of each event is carefully
choreographed, successfully combining the fast-paced schedule
with the needs of the players. This kind of organization is unusual
in paintball, and is appreciated by the players. Use of Paintball
Training Institute certified referees, further enhances the quality
of play. To find out more about the APL experience, check out
